AfrikaBurn is the spectacular result of the creative expression of participants who gather once a year in the Tankwa Karoo to create a temporary city of art, theme camps, costume, music and performance!

Is there something better than getting you hand on a freshly developed piece of film? Looking at the film through the loop and try to guess the result of the negative image. Is it sharp or unsharp, overexposed or underexposed? For unknown reasons it gives me some satisfaction that I just can not get by shooting digitally – but most importantly, if the shoot is there, it is of a character yet unseen in the world of zeros and ones… (The pictures are taken through the loop with my phone)
